What a clean baby! After three weeks of enduring tepid sponge baths, James finally experienced the real deal today. The kitchen sink seemed a bit small for our growing boy, so we set up the Eurobath in the tub, filled it with water, and gave James his first bath experience. He promptly opened up his mouth and screamed bloody murder, but settled down after we started splashing him with warm water. We hope he starts to love the bath as he gets used to it (since his father still loves his time in the tub, 30 years after his first bath). James wasn't too sure about getting his hair washed, but now it's so soft (like velvet!) and fresh-smelling (no more yummy scent of spit-up). All in all, tubber time was a squeaky-clean success.

Tubber Time: James' First Bath

Since I was not actually present for this first, I am totally thrilled that I can participate vicariously through this blog. He is a doll -- spit up & all!!! (Not that I'm biased or anything :))
